ML Right

With the ML Right, technicians can accurately interpret the result of the postural study produced by the ML Postural System.

The bike is placed on stable work surface, which enables precise adjustment of the saddle (height, setback, alignment) and cockpit (height, length, alignment, height of the handles).

Unless you’re able to have a custom bike frame designed for you, finding the ideal frame geometry is a valuable tool when it comes to choosing a bike that is adapted to the morphology of the cyclist. The most important measurements to take into account are the length of the top tube, and the length and the angle of the head tube.

Like the ML Cleat, this device allows for a measurement transfer that combines speed, simplicity and reproducibility, whatever the type of bike.

In order to use ML Right, users must first be approved by the MorphoLogics training centre.

What adjustments are made to the saddle and cockpit?

1/ APPLYING THE STUDY RESULTS TO THE FRAME

  • Possibility of designing a made-to-measure frame

  • Take the length of the top tube into account

  • Take the length and angle of the head tube into account

  • Take the length of the seat tube into account

2/ PRECISE AND FAST ADJUSTMENT

  • Seat height

  • Seat setback

  • Seat inclination

  • Seat/handlebar length

  • Height difference between the seat and the handlebar

3/ PERIPHERALS

  • Choice of crankset

  • Choice of handlebar

  • Choice of wheels

  • Seat width

4/ SPECIFICS

  • Pedal and shoe sole thickness taken into account

  • Seat geometry taken into account

  • These parameters will have an impact on the seat height and setback

How to adapt to your new riding position

Switching to a new riding position is not a straightforward, simple change. Many athletes may be concerned about changing their habits and markers. The important thing to remember is that these changes are based on a recognised advanced ergonomic approach, and that they are therefore necessary for optimising your performance and protecting your health.

Depending on the cyclist’s profile and morphology, they may have to ride their bike for tens of kilometres before noticing all the benefits of a new riding position.

New positions can also be tested on a home trainer, of course, to follow up on the postural study.

With over 40,000 postural studies carried out and years of laboratory tests, our company guarantees that the MorphoLogics Postural System works well.
